sfbw.info - SF Bear Weekend

For twenty-two years Presidents Day Weekend has been "bear weekend" in San Francisco, starting in 1992 with the first Bear Expo. Seventeen International Bear Rendezvous followed, but sadly, 2011 was the last IBR. In it's absence, and with the understanding that the essence of any bear event is of course the people, SF Bear Weekend - a grassroots, web 2.0, social media driven event was born. SF Bear Weekend 2012 and 2013 were huge successes, and we're looking forward to seeing our old friends at SF Bear Weekend 2014!

What it won't have:

* Dog Tags or any type of Official Registration
* A Shuttle Bus
* A Theme (other then bears!)
* Official Events
* An Official Charity Fund
* Any Group, Non-Profit or Otherwise officially organizing it

What it will have:

* Bears, Cubs, Otters, Chubs, Chasers and more!
* Events that charities, sponsors, venues and promoters are currently working together to organize

How to Help:

* Invite your friends, share on your Wall and RSVP yourself on facebook
* "Like" the SFBW fb page, follow @SFBW, discuss #SFBW
* Support SFBW with your skills (distribute flyers, organize an event, or do what you can)
* Come to San Francisco the third weekend of February and be ready to party!!!

The SFBW facebook page is meant to be a central hub for the development and execution of SFBW, however by definition SF Bear Weekend has no organized group or entity behind it.
